Re recent queries about the voyage of the 'Flora McDonald' to AUS in 1852. This ship does not appear in the archives indexes for either assisted or unassisted passengers to Sydney NSW or on the arrivals to a much later date. It would seem that it disembarked all its passengers in Victoria .. perhaps even went on to NZ?? Anne Maye.

I can vouch for that possibility, from my recent searches in New Zealand, that some sailings went first to Australia, then on to NZ.
