Hi, Both are in Cowal - just to make it difficult :-) However I think they are separate parishes. Glendaruel is just north of the junction of the Tighnabruich and Colintraive roads. Inverchaolain is on the east side of Loch Striven and the road to it is from Dunoon. I had some ancestors from both and lived in Dunoon myself for a number of years, but not being "kirk minded" I will not swear to the parishes.
