Other Cuthbertsons or Culbertsons married into the Breckenridge family, settled in County Antrim, Ireland, and William Culbertson was in the Battle of Londonderry in 1690, and sons came to the USA and married Breckenridges. My ancestor, James Breckenridge (married a Culbertson) may be the brother of Alexander Breckenridge, ancestor of US vice-president John Breckenridge at the time of Abraham Lincoln. Thus, I am trying to trace the Breckenridge ancestry (all spellings of the surname).
