Hi - just came across this entry, and I'm baffled. William PATRICK bp. 20 Oct. 1732 Kilsyth, Sti, Sct. (s/o James PATRICK in Tamrawer & Christian GRAHAM, wit: William GRAHAM portioner of Tamrawer & Edward PATRICK of Auchenclock, KPR-KS) Can someone please translate the above for me? What was a "portioner"? I know that I'm descended from the GRAHAMs of Tamrawer and Auchencloich, but I have no idea what that term means. Thanks so much, Kathleen VH
