Hello David I have lots of McKellars in my tree, being one myself!! Also have plenty of Marys however they come from various areas, some of which are certainly not applicable because I know who they married. Although some of my Marys don't come from the area you are referring to, that is not something to be concerned about. I have family members who met and married although they lived a fair distance from each other. People got around a lot more than one imagines, in those days. I'll sort out a list of the Marys for you just in case one might be the one. I'll post the list here on the Argyll list in case anyone else is interested. Also, if you go to www.gencircles.com or Rootsweb.com you can find lots of McKellars including mine on Gencircles. I removed my tree from World Connect at Rootsweb because it was wrong at the time!!
