Excuse me, please, Peggy, but the names I mentioned to you offlist are probably not on the Argyll list and it was certainly NOT my intention that their names should be posted on a list. Nor do I know whether any or all of these people are called Montgomery themselves. I merely said they seem to be interested in the Strachur Montgomerys, but that might mean no more than that there is a very distant relationship by marriage. I may be able to try and get in touch with them for you, but if these names are all new to you and consequently of interest, then maybe it would be wiser for you to sign up with the site yourself. Then it's up to you how it goes and how you approach it. By all means mail me offlist if you are interested. Hello List I have an ancestor Elizabeth McKellar born 1818 at Auchadachriramore, Argyll. Does anyone know where that might have been? Thank you. Jean (McKellar) Hammond, London, Canada
