    3. Hi, many thanks for your great information and ideas regarding my search for infomration about the Campbells of Barr/Baar. I have just finished reading Morvern -a Highland parish, and have looked at the Appendices and preliminary pages of Morvern Transformed. They are a good read and also provide me with some infomration about the Campbells of Barr. Can someone please advise me on the approach that is most likely to be successful in providing infomration about births/baptisms, deaths/burials and marriages between 1774 and 1803 in the Morvern area. Is the Oban Times likely to be of use? Are there other records that might be of use? I have seen the appendices of the 2 books which include transcriptions from the 1779 census,1841 census, list of Officers from Mull and Morvern; 18th and 19th century Morvern property information and maps. Best Wishes Duncan Duncan & Pam McMillan

    3. Hi Duncan the only suggestion I can make is looking in the Kirk Session minutes, they may have been filmed by the LDS. Have a look NAS www.nas.gov.uk site to see if there are any there. You might have to take a trip to Scotland to read them tho' !
