Hello I wonder if anyone would know where the burial records are for the Old Glen Nevis Burial Ground that is up the Glen Nevis road. I do have the pre 1855 M I s I have some McMillans and Camerons buried there, and Im sure there will also be some who do not have headstones buried there as well. I have asked Mr Ewan Cameron whose land is near by but he does not know if they still exist. The burial ground was not administrated by the local council as it was on private land.I have also written to the West Highland Museum, who were not able to help. I have visted the grave yard several times and noticed there was an artificial flower arrangment on one of the three graves, that are all together. The inscriptions read; STMO Mary Cameron who died 2 March 1810 aged 47yrs spouse to Angus McMillan, weaver, Nevis bridge. This stone is erected here by their son Duncan McMillan weaver, Glencoe. This headstone is flat on the ground. These are my gggg grandparents. Erected by Duncan McMillan Tayfurnist Glencoe, and Lucy Cameron his wife imo their beloved son Donald, died 1 Jan 1870 26yrs. IMO Angus McMillan who died Tayfurnist Glencoe 7 Feb 1850, 50 years. Erected by sisters Christina and Elizabeth. Am grateful for any help or suggestions about this. We didnt have mailing lists when I started this research. Thanks Margaret NZ
