    3. I agree with the others. It sounds like Scots rather than Gaelic. If people were "fechin'" they were fighting in my part of Lowland Scotland. My father used the word. The "ch" pronounced as in "loch." So -- can anyone tell me if that's Scots Gaelic, and if so how it's spelled?
