Duncan McIntosh asked about the Kirk session minutes of Kilninver and Kilmelford. The situation at the moment is that the National Archives of Scotland have digitised the Kirk Session records of all the Church of Scotland parishes. At the moment these are only available on computer in the two Edinburgh reading rooms. It is hoped that in the future they will be available on line. Some of the originals are to be found in Local Authority Archives and can be accessed there but it is necessary to check what is available with the local archivist. Frank Bigwood
