I'm sure someone will be able to understand the meaning of (extracts) which was added to an entry in the OPR for a marriage that took place in Glassary in 1827. An extract in any Scottish legal document means a copy (usually of a judgement in a court or of any document entered in an official register)made for the use of interested parties. A fee would normally be charged. In this case there would be a copy for the married couple which was not asked for.
