Frank, I'm interested in a comment you wrote regarding the information you posted on Balimore, Kilmichael regarding the Stewarts of Ascog in Bute. "The lands of both Balliemore and Kilmichael belonged for most of the 18th century to the Campbell's of Auchenbreck, thereafter passing into the hands of the Stewarts of Ascog in Bute."
