Hello, In a few minutes, I will be adding new data to the Sumter page. You will be happy to find the Stateburg Township Militia Roster online. I have also updated the Letters Home page. The new addition will interest the Ridgeway, Haley, and Timmons researchers. The letter was written to my great great grandfather, Peter Edward Ridgeway from his cousin Lydia Timmons. Mentioned in the letter is Peter's sister, Charity who married a Haley. I want ya'll to know. I did it, I bought a color scanner. I have only scanned a couple of pictures and that new letter to send to some cousins, but it's great. Well, enjoy the new pages. As soon as I have time, I will create that new Reunion page. I am saving e-mails about reunions in a folder for it. Keep sending those reunion announcements out over this list for Sumter, Clarendon, and Lee. She got the copies from the archives and got the two students from study hall organized to type it up in the keyboarding class at Alice Drive Middle. We taught Denedra last year. We both know Sara from when I administered the MAT7 standardized testing to her home room last year. We hope to get some more documents and have students at ADMS type them up for me to turn into a webpage. If anyone wants to send me anything that I could get the students to work on, that would be wonderful. I turned in a sort of wish list at work today and one of my wishes was to start a Web Masters Club at Alice Drive Middle. The assistant principal loves the idea. Keep your fingers crossed that we get more than 4 computers that are available to students on line at ADMS for the upcoming school year. We will have them turning out Old Sumter District history web pages yet. :)
