Hello all,I'm looking for others whose relatives moved to Autauga Co.,Al present day Chilton Co.,Al from Sumter Co. about 1840. I have 3 brothers Henry,James R. and Gower Dennis who migrated there about that time. -- Someone replied to this post with the surname interest, Dykes I meant to respond but went to read other email first and as it does occassionaly Netscape apparantely buried the message in another and I can't find it. Their line moved to Miss and had some interaction with a Dennis abt. 1835. I have a John Dennis in Holmes Co.,MS about that time from Sumter Co.,SC a probable brother to the others as well as a Dykes in Autauga Co., AL who married a Dennis.
