Can anyone tell me where to "look" for deeds that were done in the old county of Craven? I have several that were "laid out to" David Williams, Catherine Williams and Robert Williams about 1770. Did the term "laid out to" just mean "deeded to"? Also, does anyone know where St. David's Parish and St. Mark's Parish would be "located" now? This would probably answer my question as to what county this land is currently in. I apologize for so many questions, but I need some help. Thanks, Susie
