Hi, Its easy. You subscribe the same way you did to get on the Sumter roots web site. Use the below listed Harvin and McFaddin addresses (mine is spelled with an i so use that spelling) and the single word "subscribe" in the body with nothing on the subject or cc lines in the heading. That will do it. You should get an automatic conformation. To post, take the single word "request" out of the address fill in the subject line. List the Harvins or McFaddens that interest you. The more information you provide on them the more chance you have of a connection. Understand that there are thousands of roots webb lists out there and many people subscribe to a bunch of different lists. If you don't have the name and a date or place up top that interests them they hit the delete button in the interest of time and you may both have connections in the stuff you have lower in the body of the mail that would interest and benefit you both.
