You could check the ALPHABETICAL INDEX OF STATE PLATS in the State Archives. It cross references the properties which were granted or surveyed for individuals by the State. The cross referencing is done by names of all individuals mentioned in the grant or survey AND by names of waterbodies. If any references were made to "Frogg Branch" in any of the surveys or grants, then you should find them listed under "Frogg Branch" in the index. By then examining the listed surveys or grants you should be able to locate figure out exactly where Frogg Branch was. Similarly, you could examine the COMBINED ALPHABETICAL INDEX at the State Archives. The Combined Index contains names found in Bills of Sale, Royal Grants, Deeds, Plats, Audited Accounts, Memorials, Judgement Rolls, Will Transcripts, etc. Extremely useful guide to locating records.
