    3. Bill, I really hit the jackpot with you Thanks a million! W.T Lesesne lll was indeed Buba. He died in 51 when I was just 9 so I don't know much about his job but I do know he was a kind generous gentelman. I still have a toy pistol he gave me and still put it under the tree on Christmas and he always had those Hershy bars. I think he had something to do with the timber business as I heard people talking about him buying new cars then driving them through mud and brush on the job and really messing them up. I may be thinking of someone else, however. I remember my family would always vacation at Pawleys (we could afford it then) and we would stop at the Lesenes on the trip to and from the beach and swing in the swing on the porch. Then visit the Colliers in Andrews before hitting the beach. When Buba died they brought him home and had the viewing there in his dinning room. That was the first time I saw a dead person. I don't remember him that way though, I remember him showing up on our front porch on Wheat St. Columbia with a big smile and having supper with us. Thats the way I like to remember him. The post that use to hold the guest house sighn is still there but the sighn and the little concrete boy is missing. Virginia Sauls who is now in a retirement home in Camden would probably be one of if not the only person to answer your questions about Buba. I really loved him and he died so young. As I recall he had ulcers and the doctors put him on a diet of whole milk and cheese and he died of a heart attack. I can remember those Bar-b-qs at the Saules with "Bossie" cooking them in an open pit all night. Bubba was there and I still love and eat it. I think that Julia ran the guest house and Sarah helped but had a gift shop on the square as well. She lived in a little house down the street. I am at this moment sitting at her desk as my computer is located on it. Please send your line. Mine is from the McFaddin. Callie was my grandmothers (Mable Vernelle McFadden) sister. She married a Hawkins had two children Frances and my mom who married a Godfrey. Bubba was my first cousin first removed. Expect we are second or third cousins. Let me know.
