MOSELY TO JEESE HAMMOND LEASE The State of South Carolina County of Sumter Whereas, G.A.Mosely has agreed to let and rent to Jesse Hammond the following parcel of land, for the years of 1912 - 13 - 14 to wit: place known as Eadly Hill, containing about 150 acres, and the said Jesse Hammond by these presents, does agree to pay the said G.A. Mosely, as rent ( 5000) lint cotton baled on or before the 1st day of October of each year. Know All Men By These Presents That -- the said -- by these present agreements that the said rent shall be lien for the full amount of thereof on the crops grown during the said year. On the said Land, in reference to all other lien, existing or otherwise, to secure the said rent, according to the provisions of the Act of the Legislature. And it is further agreed that the said tenant shall keep all ditches clean and shall keep and return the premises in good order and condition at the end of the said year.
