TO WILLIAM LEWIS, ORDINARY OF SUMTER DISTRICT: The Petition of Neal W Coker Sheweth, That Stephen Coker departed this life on the 30th day of July 1845 intestate, leaving a personal estate worth about two hundred Dollars, in SUMTER DISTRICT aforesaid, and no person having as yet made application for administration on the said Estate, nor (in the opinion of petitioner ) will any such application be made: In order therefore, that the property belonging to said Estate may be taken care of and administered, converted and disposed of according to Law ["Law" is written in and "the Act of the State aforesaid" is struck out], your Petitioner prays that the administration of all and singular the Goods and Chattles, Rights and Credits of the said Neal W Coker deceased, may be granted to him.
