This is my first posting to the list, and I would like to let everyone know that I'm researching the TISDALE family which settled in the Sumter area in the middle 1700s. Also see my query on the Sumter Co GenWeb page. Other SC roots include the ASHWORTH, CORBIN, DIAL/DYAL/DOYLE, HAYES, JAMES, MIXON, and PERKINS families, none of which are known to have lived in Sumter Co.
