Merry Christmas to All once more, Some of you know about the new photos on the Clarendon County Archives pages. I also have some of Oak Grove if anyone is interested in an e-mailed copy. I have photos of the church and the old 1 room school house. (My Lowder great grandmother who is also Dee's Lowder grandmother taught there. Her maiden name was Timmons.)I took the pictures Sunday before last (on the 14th of Dec.) so the church has Christmas wreaths on the front doors. If you are interested, let me know. It will be my Christmas gift to you all. If a good many are interested, I may just send them out via this list. I compressed them a great deal so they don't take up much K at all. Happy Holidays. I am up late because of Christmas vacation and because I slept late this morning. (Until 8:30 no less.) I am still so awake that I am going to read a while. (Sean is up watching T.V. while I type. I have a picture of him holding a huge bass that he caught at Santee (Lake Marion) about a month ago. I just might put that one on one of the web pages somewhere. I have a photo of the Santee River that I plan to put on my Palmetto State Roots page. There's not much of the river left. Most of it is under Lake Marion now. What was the mighty Santee does not have the flow of water that it had when I ancestors traveled the river. Most of the water was diverted to the Cooper River long ago. Off to read now, Cindy
