Hello everyone and Merry Christmas, I received a complaint this a.m. via e-mail about someone not being able to read the Sumter and etc. queries due to "fancy writing." I will paste it below without the name or sender's address. I let the person know that there is not any fancy writing on the pages as I see them in my browswer. The only font codes used might be an italics in a title every now and then. There is no "fancy writing" in the surname or queries. I am assuming that the problem is with this lady's browswer. The surnames and the queries are in simple plain text as would be on a typewritten pages. They are your basic font. I do not code the fonts at all so they are plain text. What do all of ya'll see when you look at the pages. It should be what's set as default in your browswer. Unless you have changed it, it is a very, very plain text. ____________________________________________________________ Here is her message. Cindy, I am going to make a complaint about the the way the queries are written. Especially the Surnames. I can't read half the surnames when they are written in that fancy writing. This is not just Sumter County, but the other Counties also. I go in & read most of the counties queries. If I have information which will help other, I reply to the queries. If I can't read who they are inquiring about then there is no way I can help them. ___________________________________________________________ I would also like to remind folks that I am a volunteer. I spend more time doing these pages now than I do with my own research. I hope that the rest of you feel as I do that encourgament is more appropriate than complaint. Cindy
