    1. [SCSUMTER-L] Lee County McIntoshes
    2. Hi Maidee, Thanks for your suggestions! I do not presently have access to the book you mentioned - But I am pretty sure that I've checked its index before. Yes I am related to the Bishopville McIntoshes. Cousin Allie's husband Plummer was an even closer cousin. Mattie Joye McIntosh was my step great- grandmother. Her husband John Franklin McIntosh was married first to her sister Sarah Adelaide "Sallie" Joye. Their son William Ernest McIntosh (1881-1955) was a dentist in Lynchburg. He married Frances L. "Franke" Lesesne (b. 1891). They are also buried at Lynchburg Presbyterian Church next to my sister Katherine Lachlan McIntosh. My father was principal of Lynchburg High School until it closed. We moved to Charleston when I was about 14 months old so I don't remember much about the area other than annual camping/fishing trips on Lynches River when I was 6-10 years old or so. Again thanks for your help. Bill (William Ernest McIntosh III)
