My gg grandfather was Francis Edwin JOYE who married Martha E. DWYER. Their children included Francis E. JOYE, Jr., Sarah Adelaide JOYE, Thomas Sinclair JOYE, LeGrand Wheeler JOYE, and Joseph Dwyer JOYE. >From an old Family Bible, I have Francis Edwin JOYE's father as James JOYE. Searching SC records, I have only found a James JOY born in Christ Church Parish who was the son of Richard JOY of that parish. Can anyone tell me if these James JOY(E)s are the same person, or whether the Sumter/Williamsburg JOYES and the Christ Church JOYS are connected? Thanks, Bill McIntosh --part0_903906472_boundary--
