Looking for information on Jeff Davis HUDNALL and his wife Dolsa JOHNSON. I am especially interested in his wife Dolsa JOHNSON, she was born 10 Novemver 1863 in Kemper Co. MS. Her parents were Mode or Mose JOHNSON and Dolsa PILGRIM. They are said to have been from Alabama, although I can't find them there. Dolsa PILGRIM was Cherokee. She is not on any of the Indian rolls. Jeff Davis HUDNALL was the son of Henry Bennett HUDNALL and Nancy COURTNEY of Sumter, South Carolina. He was born 5 July 1860. Jeff and Dolsa apparently met there in Kemper Co. They married in 1884 and moved to the town of Cedar Vale, Chatauqua Co. KS, there their first two children were born, Mode (named after his grandfather) and Walter, they then returned to DeKalb, Kemper Co. MS where my grandfather, Jesse James HUDNALL and their next child were born. By 1889 they moved to Oklahoma Territory, they lived in the town of Pawhuska on the Osage Indian Reservation at a place called, Sand Creek Ranch (this according to my grandfather). Jeff and Dolsa spent the rest of their lives in Oklahoma. Jeff died in Cushing, Payne Co. OK on 11 May 1933 and Dolsa died on 31 October 1943 in Oklahoma City OK. Can anyone add to this?
