Attached is the info. Anytime that anyone starts a list or a web page that has anything to do with Old Sumter Dist., S.C. genealogy, go ahead and post it. That's what this list here for, to get the information out there for sharing. Don't worry about asking me, just post it. Our only rule, is "be nice," and it works :) This list just runs itself and that's great. I will get these listed on the surname page connected with Old Sumter. The lists are roots-l and you post with the normal request. Put the address in the address line ie: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] Then put the single word Subscribe in the body of the message. Don't put anything else in the body. To post remove the -request from the address. The first three all have Clarendon roots. There is a Blakely stained glass window in the Presbyterian Church at Manning and the McFaddins donated the land. I would encourage you to join yourself as all mothers lines were from your area. Actually Williamsburg, Clarendon & Sumter Co's. Please help me get the word out about these lists. My sort of in construction home page (actually Gen. page now) is www.Geocities.com/Heartland/Bluffs/8362/ and I would love for you to take a look at it. You click on the names to go back and forth. Click on Mothers name and you follow her family back a number of generations and all From Manning to Lynchburg. Please try it.
