Am new to the list. Would appreciate any information on Benjamin Allen Weldon who came to Sumter County (now Lee County) from eastern North Carolina and settled in the Spring Hill area around 1790. His father was Samuel Weldon of NC and his son was Daniel Weldon. I believe Benjamin was married to either a Belvin or a Hancock. Thank you. -H.W.
