Jackie, R. Richardson also had a son named Charles Richardson, d. 1829. I have always wondered if my Charles M. Richardson, b. 1823, would be his son. I haven't found any proof yet. Charles M. named his son Darcus which is very close to Dorcas, as you say. Thanks for the help. I will keep looking. My Stones had a long history with the Richardson's, starting during the Rev. War and going up to this marriage between Mary Mercer and Charles.
