    1. Re: [SCSUMTER-L] "S" in Scott book
    2. Peter is D.3 on page 54 of The Brunsons of South Carolina. His parents are James Brunson (b1716), son of Isaac I and Margaret ????????, m. to Elizabeth Cantey (?). I guess the question mark means her last name is unknown. James is C.3 on page 54. James parents are Isaac Brownson (1672-1739), second son of John and Hannah Brownson, was born in Weatherfield, Conn., in 1672. He first married Thankful Dibble while he was still living in Connecticut and they were said to have had two sons--Samuel and Joseph. He then came to South Carolina where he remained for some time, imporving his land and building a house. When he returned to Connecticut, he divorced his wife and married Margaret (whose last name is not known). Isaac is B.3 on page 9. John Brownson, born in Connecticut in 1645, was married to Hannah Scott (b. 1651), daughter of Edmund and Hannah Bird Scott. John is A.1 on page 7. That's all the further that the book goes back. I have other information but it isn't in the computer yet and there's way to much to get into right now. Jackie
