Dear Jackie, What an interesting read regarding the Burchull name in S.C.... I HAD no idea that they had that much history.. MY goodness... alot of governor's in that family... Imagine the history... You might be right about naming after someone famous at that time... Was hoping that it would be easier to crack the family tree with another family name.. But... I have a tendency to think that IF there was a connection as strong as that one.. I would have heard it somewhere along the line... Thank you for keeping your eyes open for me...
