    2. Kathy, He doesn't say much about the Foundry. It is mentioned in his description of Sidney Park in Columbia: "The hillside above the Springs, which supply the city with water, extending from Gov. Taylor's (now Judge Haskell's) residence to and beyond Shields's Foundry, was of solid red clay, scored and scarred by a number of deep gullies that made it very rough and unsightly." Not much there to help, but as you said, you never can tell..... Blanche
