Does anyone know where Nasty Branch is? It is off of the Black River. In 1786, my ancestor received a grant of 640 acres of land situated on Nasty Branch Waters of the Black River in the Camden District. He was listed on the Tax List for William Murrell in Camden District in 1785. Can anyone pinpoint the current day location of this Branch? I do not find it on any maps that I have.
