Hello List Members, Some of that snow is still on the ground. I have never seen snow stick around so long here in Sumter, unless I count the year that I was senior in high school and there was the freak snowstorm of 24 inches. They were rescuing folks from cars trapped on I-95 that year. All of Sumter's and Clarendon's motel and hotel rooms were filled with snowbound travelers. We have ice today. Same storm that gave Atlanta the ice to mess up the Super Bowl travel. I wanted to let you know about some new items on line on the websites that I tend to. I've worked a bit while being housebound. I also have redone the look of the Lee County site entry point. Clarendon is next. Here are links to the new or changed pages. http://www.rootsweb.com/~scsumter/afamconf.html Sumter, Clarendon, and Lee County African American Confederate Pensioners http://www.rootsweb.com/~scsumter/documents.html Sumter County Documents (Thank Zane Perry. He has sent me two transcribed deeds just recently.) Next to work on are some postcards that were sent the other day. I will get busy on that and place them on the photo album page. Check there later on today. Hopefully, I will have them up. Cindy
