Hi, Betty-- I too am researching the Holladay family. As you probably have already found out, there are a bunch of them in the Sumter area. Please give me more info on which family you are researching. And, are you aware of Alvis Holladay's outstanding book on the Holladays? I came upon it years ago and it has been a tremendous help to me. Alvin has died since publishing his book, but his son continues to sell the book and is also online...he, too, has been a wonderful resource. Incidentally, I am doing my research from California...
