Jackie, Sorry, I listed all of my Scott's and the only connections I have with them are the Montgomery's and the Cooper's. I am virtually certain that I am related to none of the South Carolina Manning's. My Manning line begins in Mass. and New Jersey in the early 1600's and I can track about 2500 descendants. My grandfather Frederick Claude Manning was a principle in the Sumter Telephone Company in the early 1900's. He married my grandmother Rosa Isabel Cooper from Wisacky in 1910. My uncle Frederick Claude Manning, Jr. and my father Robert Cooper Manning were born in Sumter in 1912 and 1914. The family moved to Chicago in 1916, South Orange, NJ in 1918 and Knoxville, Tenn. in 1930. My grandfather is buried at Brick Church near Mayesville with my grandmother and five generations of my Coopers. Bob
