Joseph Caton and Dora Smallwood Caton are the parents of Creed Caton. There were also brothers Fred and Ivory Knox Caton. Creed Caton died in 1958 due to smoke inhalation from a fire in a back bedroom where he was living with his aunt and uncle. I was relieved to learn he succumed to the smoke instead of being burned in the fire. I have not been able to find any burial site for him. Any help would be appreciated. I know there are relatives living in Spartanburg but I respect their privacy. Thanks for whatever help available. I have a few pictures of Creed Caton if any relations would like to have copies.
