Lesel Vice - Newspaper, Democrat-Star, Aug 1, 1890, Scranton/Pascagoula MS Mr. Leacher (aka Lesel) Vice, and old and respected citizen of this county (Jackson), died Tuesday evening at his residence near Digestia Springs (Wilson Springs/North Escatawpa-north of Moss Point, MS). Buried in Four Mile Creek Cemetery in same area Vice, Lesel born ca 1808, died July 29, 1890 Lived in Clarke Co, MS before moving to Jackson Co, MS by 1870 - Blacksmith, born in Spartanburg, SC Vice, Ovilla, born ca 1818, died June 1896 (2nd wife) (His wife in 1860, Clarke Co, age 27 (His first marriage was Mary age 22 in 1850 who died before 1860) Lesel was the son of Reuben and Sarah Rogers Vice. Some known children of Lesel Vice 1.Elizabeth, age 17 in 1860, married Joseph W. Rogers . John Vice born Nov 1852, married Harriet Cunningham . William Vice born May 1855, married Julia Miller .
