    3. Thursday, Aug.23, 1934. MANY PRESENT AT BIRTHDAY DINNER A birthday celebration in honor of MRS. MINNIE FOSTER and MRS. MOLLIE McMILLAN, of New Prospect, twin sisters, was held on August 19 at the home of MRS. FOSTER. The large group of relatives and friends attended the gathering termed it one of the most successful celebrations ever held in the community. Those attending the party were; MR. and MRS. GARY E. TURNER REUNION IS HELD NEAR LANFORD Watts Mills, Aug. 25 - The TURNER reunion was held on Sunday, August 5, at the home of W.H. TURNER, near Lanford Station. All members of the family were present and at noon a sumptuous picnic lunch was served on the shady lawn. Those present were: W.H. TURNER, MR. and MRS. T.B. TURNER and children, and MRS. MARY SUE CANTRELL of Lanford; MR. and MRS. LEON TURNER and son WALES, MR. and MRS. ED TURNER and children and MR. and MRS. CLAUDE TURNER and children of Watts Mills; MR. and MRS. FLOYD OSBORNE and son of Goldville; MR. and MRS. TILLMAN TURNER and children of Laurens; RAFE TURNER of Walhalla; MR. and MRS. RAYMOND WATKINS, MR. and MRS. DANNER WATKINS and ALBERT WATKINS of near Laurens. ------------------------------ Monday, August 27, 1934. WILLIAM HENSON PASSES AT HOME NEAR GOWANSVILLE Gowansville, Aug. 27 - WILLIAM HENSON, 78, successful farmer and peach grower of Glassy Mountain township, died Sunday after a year and a half of declining health. MR. HENSON was born and reared in the upper section of Greenville County, and was a devoted member of Ebenezer Welcome Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, who before marriage was MISS MARY M. DILL; 4 sons, JAMES, DAVID and WILLIAM of Campobello, and LUTHER of Charleston; 4 daughters, MRS. TELLA TREADMORE, MRS. WILLIAM PRUITT, MRS. ISOM BROWN, all of Campobello and MRS. JAMES GOSNELL, Inman ; 25 grandchildren and 4 gt. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Ebenezer Welcome Church, interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers will be GRADY PRUITT, RALPH, GUY and CLAUDE HENSON, R.Q.
