Mrs. DAVIS, of Union County, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Charles PETTY. Mr. Geo. B. WINSLOW of Massachusetts, has come to Spartanburg to stay. He is associated with Captain HALLETT in the ice business. Mr. John B. HENNEMAN, of our town, has gained quite an honor in the Virginia University. The annual debate of the Jefferson Society came off last week, and he received the first prize, a fifty dollar-medal, which was awarded by a committee of professors of that institution. free post Lisa
