There daughter, Lalla Bess Goforth was my maternal Grandmother. She married H. G. Settlemyer, had several children, (two lived), and then married Marshall Luther Riley after Settlemyer died. My mother is the youngest child of Lalla Bess Goforth and she is still alive. My mother has M.S. She has told me that she also had a cousin on Lalla's side that had M.S. I am looking for any information on Lalla Bess Goforth. My mother and her 3 siblings had to go to an orphanage when my mom was 10, (1945), and she knows very little about Lalla Bess.
