Happy Holidays To All My Grandfather(John Landrum Henderson 1867-1949) always spoke of his memories of Christmas. He placed hs shoes outside the door filled with hay for the reindeer to eat.In the morning the shoes would be filled with hard candies and oranges.The tree was not used in his childhoood.Holly,evergreen boughs and mistletoe were used to decorate the house.
