Is there anyone who has info on the SNOWDEN family around Greenville or Spartanburg, SC? I have a GREER daughter, Sarah "Sallie" GREER, who married John S. SNOWDEN. "Sallie" must have died fairly early as she is mentioned in her mother's will as deceased and leaving children w/John S. SNOWDEN. In the 1850 Camden Co., GA, census, there is a John SNODEN listed w/wife Mary, 2 daus. Mary and Nancy who are in their teens and then several small children, leading one to think that this John may have been married twice. He says he is 70 years old and born in NC in this same census.
