A couple weeks ago I posted a list of Confederate survivors of Spartanburg County that were attempting to organize and find out who had survived the War. Your response to that posting far exceeded what I had expected. Here is another list taken from one of Nancie O'Sullivan's posting of the Spartanburg Herald. Maybe it will help some of you in your search and with your feedback, I can improve my data. 1910 Veterans List (Partial) July 6, VETERAN EDITION The past two days have been banner days in the work of perfecting the roll of veterans in Spartanburg County. Fully 200 names from the authentic sources with the correct addresses have been added. The replies from the circular letters already sent out continue to come in. Not only does the Herald want the full list of veterans but every veteran who received a blank from this office is urged to reply promptly.
