One source gives her parents as JW & N WILLIAMS. She married LANDY HEWITT,son of James Hewitt, abt.1840 in the Spartanburg/Laurens area of SC. On the 1850 Spartanburg census she is listed as JANE age 33, but my ggrandmother's death certificate gives her name as Jemima. Do these initials sound familiar? I'm at a standstill right now.
