New to this list and have a question that just maybe someone can answer for me. On a land deed dated 13 Nov 1794, there is mentioned a BRIGWOOD IRON WORKS. Does anyone know where I can find information on this place? Since the family owned property along the Tygar River and Cane Creek I take it it was located near by.
