If you want to search Spartanburg death cetificates or obits. You need to go to Columbia SC historical society. Thought you might want to know this since it will probably be on you're way from Ga. to Spartanburg. Everything is on micro film there and very easy to research. I am related to Jacksons from Polk Co NC and a few from Spartanburg but don't know if we are related.My ancestors are David Jackson-David Jr.-Rueben-Alfred-THomas- Then my grandmother who was Betha Jackson Her mother was a Case. Spartanburg Herald Journal newspaper also has some old obits on their website mostly names and dates. Good luck in you're search.
