I am trying to find a marriage record on my father's cousin Mary Jo Wise (born 1901) from Spartanburg SC. According to the obituary of her mother Lillian Wise in the late 1940's Mary Jo Wise was Mrs J R Salley. I have checked the Spartanburg records and they don't find any marriage license applied for by Mary Jo Wise or J R Salley between 1915-1950 . Mary Jo (Wise) Salley was living in Orangeburg SC at the time of her mother's death in the 1940's and was still there in the 1970's when my parents visited her. Does South Carolina have marriage records online?
