Hi Nelda and Don Thanks so much for the info. on what a Confederate cross of Honor was. The University of VA web site had excellent information of the Cross and Confederate Memorial Day. Looked at the UDC web site and apparently they are still involved in marking graves for their members. This certainly put the list and ceremony into perspective. Thanks again for your prompt rersponse and help.
