The informant on the death certificate was B. C. McAbee of RFD #4, Spartanburg South Carolina in 1916 (Bird Cleveland McAbee, son of Samuel Thomas McAbee) According to the death certificate of Falder Chrissenberry McAbee, his mother Mahala (Halley) was a Heaughitt. The informant on his death certificate was J. C. McAbee of Route 1 Roebuck, SC in 1925 (grandson of Falder Chrissenberry McAbee) So who do you believe...the grand son or great grand son of Mahala?
